I think we can all agree that the wonderful designs by William Morris have stood the test of time; they have always been a beautiful and classy addition to any home and look just as good as they would have done 150 years ago.
Not only was William Morris a textile designer, he was also a poet, an artist, a novelist, a printer, a social activist and associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was a firm believer that the design and production of products were of equal importance and his attention to detail has made him one of the most celebrated figures in british textile production. With over 600 timeless designs for wallpaper, textiles and embroideries-largely inpired by nature-it is not surprising that Morris and Co. remain incredibly popular by today’s standards; the company still offers many of Morris’ pioneering designs as they add warmth, class and opulence to any home or crafting project.
